This expat joint gets you going with tunes from Oasis, older U2, REM stuff and the likes, battling to be heard above the din coming from the crowds that fill this place without fail.

T
he great vibe greets you at the door to this elongated pub, with tables and chairs jam-packed so tight you wonder how the waitresses squeeze through, slim as they may be.

Pivo offerings are south Bohemian brands such as Regent and Platan, which are on the sweeter side and the full bar can give you a mother of a headache the morning after, if you try to tackle it.

A menu of Czech/American fare is available for rumbling stomachs. For nibbling, their chicken fingers come with the most delicious dip. For the morning after, Jama offers a pretty robust brunch menu on weekends.

A jam-packed haven for off-work businessmen and lolling students, many of whom are Czech.

The seating leaves one banging into chairs and catching eat-sh*t looks, but the wide selection of beer, frothy and ice-cold, along with an amazing collection of music posters (three of "The Boss" in one room) make it worth a look. The menu is deceptively American (chicken fingers come with mayo and purple cabbage) but diverse and not too badly priced.

Reason to go: to play "name that hair-rock ballad" over the bawling conversation.
